Welcome Chaplain Egan! I'm glad that you are getting things going in Kentucky. Here is the link to the VFW National chaplain web page: https://lotcs.org/vfw_chaplain.html. There you will find lots of information about being a chaplain. Be sure and check it out. I'm the administrator of the blog page and webmaster of the VFW National Chaplain page. God bless you as you serve our veterans and their families.

Greetings from VFW Dept of KY, 4th District Chaplains Steven D. Egan.
I have been the Chaplain since last June. I have finally got things rolling within the Fourth District where we have eight Posts spread out over a rather large portion of area. But, I am sure that we can get up to speed now that I have guidance from VFW National HQ!
As for me, I am a 67 year old retiree who was not able to get into the Chaplains arena while working. But now, I am ready and willing to kick it up a bit. I plan to run for another term in April 2024. I will do so much better next year! Glad to be onboard!
